See the attached link:
http://www.artinstitutes.edu/Competitions/PassionForFashion.asp
The Passion for Fashion competition was created to recognize and reward young design talent at the high school level and encourage an education in the fashion industry. At stake is a full scholarship worth up to $70,000 to study fashion design or fashion marketing, merchandising or retail management at one of 22 Art Institute locations in the U.S. or Canada that offer fashion programs. In addition to a full tuition scholarship for both the fashion design and fashion marketing & merchandising and retail management categories, each grand prize winning student receives an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City during Fashion Week. During their time in New York, the winning students will spend a day at Seventeen magazine and attend fashion shows. Both students and their winning entry will be profiled in an issue of Seventeen magazine.
In this year's Passion for Fashion competition students will be asked for to create an “evening wear” design for the fashion design category or a fashion marketing, merchandising or retail management plan for the corresponding category.
Entries must be submitted to the participating Art Institute you plan on attending by November 20, 2007. A local competition will be held at the participating Art Institutes in November 2007, the local winners entries from each participating location will proceed to the national competition.
